PROGRAMA + ABORDAGEM
Esta intervenção consiste na renovação integral de uma moradia, focada em maximizar o conforto e a fluidez espacial de um jovem casal e um labrador. A estratégia principal passou pela reconfiguração total do interior, estabelecendo uma distinção clara entre a zona social e a área reservada. Através de um núcleo central, a sala-de-estar, acede-se agora a todos os compartimentos, incluindo o novo quarto/escritório e a suite principal.
A relação com o exterior foi o motor da mudança logística: a entrada principal foi deslocada para o logradouro, permitindo que o acesso à casa seja feito através de uma zona ajardinada que garante maior privacidade e funcionalidade. Este novo desenho promove uma transparência visual constante entre o interior e o jardim, transformando o espaço exterior numa extensão natural da casa.
Finalmente, a intervenção resolveu necessidades logísticas ao integrar dois lugares de estacionamento no lote, servindo ambas as frações, e garantindo que o novo desenho exterior respeita a envolvente sem abdicar da privacidade necessária face à vizinhança.
BRIEF + APPROACH
The proposal is centered on a programmatic reconfiguration of a house of a young couple and their dog, with the intent of clarifying the distinction between social areas and private quarters. The living room serves as the central core and distribution point for the entire program, enabling the integration of a third bedroom/office and the conversion of the primary bedroom into a suite. A fundamental premise of the project was the redefinition of the main access. By relocating the entrance to the opposite side of its original position, the arrival sequence is now mediated by a landscaped patio, granting the home increased privacy and a more organic transition between the public and private domains.
In the exterior, the design seeks to blur the boundaries between the built form and the garden. This symbiosis is reinforced by the creation of visual axes between spaces. The patio was qualified as a natural extension of the social area, designed to host leisure events all while maintaining formal harmony with the surroundings and providing visual screening from the neighboring unit. The program concludes with the addition of two exterior parking spaces, optimizing the logistical functionality of the site.
